Simitçi Dünyası Gather Speed in Export with the Support of KGF

The Simitçi Dünyası, which meets its business capital need with the support of the KGF and Eximbank during its growth period, anticipates to reach the ambitious targets it establishes with the confidence given by this financing support.


The Simitçi Dünyası which was established in 2012 by Murat Erdem, has succeeded in opening more than 100 branches both in Turkey and abroad in a short period of time like 5 years. Simitçi Dünyası which owes its success to innovative production at the same time, has set an ambitious goal of establishing 400 branches at the 100th year of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The Simitçi Dünyası, which meets its business capital need with the support of the KGF and Eximbank during its growth period, anticipates to reach the ambitious targets it establishes with the confidence given by this financing support.


Murat Erdem who is the creator of the Simitçi Dünyası brand while stating that companies in Turkey has difficulties in accessing financing support, said the SMEs that meets up to 80 percent of employment, access to long-term credit is very hard.


Erdem who emphasizing that companies need financing to increase both production and employment, Erdem underlined that that competitive costs, which are necessary to increase exports simultaneously, can also be achieved by lowering the financing expenses.


 Murat Erdem stated that the KGF has stepped in exactly at that point and they benefited from the supports of Eximbank and KGF in financing the export they made to branches abroad. Erdem who stated that they reached easy and low cost financing through Eximbank with the mediation of KGF and said that "The role of the CGF is extremely important here, The deposit problem of SMEs has been solved mostly and this opened the way for SMEs to very fast, easy and low cost financing ".


Murat Erdem said that since deposit requirements of the banks are minimized, KGF deposits are preferred over banks and said. "This has caused the cost of financing to decrease On the other hand, the KGF has accelerated access to finance by shortening the allocation period ".


Erdem, who advises both exporting SMEs and companies which operates for domestic production sector to evaluate the financial facilitation opportunities provided by the KGF, and Erdem states "It would be extremely useful to evaluate these facilities via the KGF, and they will reach the fastest, easiest and most cost-effective low-cost financing without dealing with any procedure" .


Murat Erdem, who stated that they have produced 300 thousand bagels per day in their facilities, stated that they still provide service with 100 branches in Turkey and abroad and that they will reach 115 branches when the branches in the construction are completed.


Erdem, stated that Simitçi Dünyası is operated in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Austria, Dubai and Switzerland, and in 2023 they aim to increase the total number of branches up to 400.


Murat Erdem pointed out that the most important element of success that they have reached in a relatively short period of time is innovative production structures. Murat Erdem stated that the qualities of bagel as product such as it is consumed by all the people from age of 7 to 70 made their business easier but as Simitçi Dünyası that coupled bagel with product that appeal to tastes.
